The Hallway’s head of PR Louise Pogmore has departed the agency after nearly two years, to move into freelancing.

Speaking to Mumbrella, Pogmore said: “It was an amazing experience and I achieved what I set out to achieve by integrating PR within an advertising agency. it fuelled my passion for PR and I thought it was time for me to explore new challenges and opportunities in that space.”

Pogmore who joined the agency to launch the PR offering in January 2013, remained tightlipped on her next move.

Managing partner Jules Hall said the agency had restructured following Pogmore’s departure, explaining the agency’s PR director Laura Barette is the most senior person in the team, however has not taken on Pogmore’s title of head of PR.

He said Pogmore’s departure did not indicate a change in focus for the agency. Barette has been with The Hallway for just over a year.

“PR and social continue to be a key priority and will continue to be promoted accordingly,” Hall told Mumbrella.

The Hallway’s PR clients include Australian Mangoes, Australian Cherries, Australian Lychees, Tourism & Events Queensland and GSK.
