Hamish & Andy’s European adventure rates for Nine

hamish andy euro gap yearRadio duo Hamish Blake and Andy Lee beat the curse of the absentee Thursday night TV audiences with a strong debut for Hamish & Andy’s Euro Gap Year.

The show averaged a metro audience of 1.413m viewers, top for the night according to preliminary overnight ratings from OzTam.

Next was Seven News with 1.352m, followed by Nine’s The Block with 1.319m.

Ten’s Masterchef was sixth for the night with 1.058m.

In the key advertising demographics of 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54, Hamish & Andy were top, followed by The Block and then Masterchef.

In the breakfast battle, Seven’s Sunrise won with 370,000 to 324,000 for Nine’s Today and 31,000 for Ten’s Breakfast.
