Hamish McLennan joins REA Group board

Newly appointed executive VP of News Limited Hamish McLennan has joined the board of online real estate company REA Group, which is majority owned by News Limited.

The announcement:

REA Group Limited (ASX: REA) announces the appointment of Hamish McLennan as a Non Executive Director of the Company, effective today.

Mr McLennan was recently named Executive Vice President, Office of the Chairman at News Corporation, with responsibility for enhancing News Corporation’s global brand partnerships across traditional and digital media platforms. Previously, he was Chairman and CEO of Young & Rubicam (Y&R), one of the world’s leading advertising networks.
