Hardhat adds creatives Isha Brown, Bec Matlioski and Ben Ryding

Hardhat has hired creative duo Bec Matlioski and Ben Ryding from Ogilvy Melbourne.

Matlioski, a copywriter, and Ryding, an art director, have worked together for four years on some of Ogilvy’s key clients Cadbury, AAMI, Priceline Pharmacy and BP.

Prior to his time at Ogilvy Ryding was at CHE Proximity. Meanwhile Matlioski started out as an intern at M&C Saatchi.

The duo join the agency alongside Isha Brown, who has been appointed senior art director.  Brown was most recently an art director at BWM Dentsu and started out her career at Leo Burnett.

In further changes to the creative team, Chris Hince and Andy Segal have been promoted from associate creative directors to creative directors and Jonathan Heath has been elevated to senior creative.

Hince and Segal have both been with the agency since 2019. Heath joined in 2017 from Future Friendly London.

Executive creative director, Glenn Dalton, said: “I’m thrilled to welcome three very talented and very nice people into Hardhat’s growing creative department, and promote three who have helped shape that growth. A big welcome and congratulations guys – exciting times and ideas ahead.”

The agency now has a team of 45 people. Its client list includes Bupa, Bega Dairy and Drinks, Carsales, Kogan.com, Simply Energy and Victoria University.
