Dan Monheit, CEO of Hardhat said the appointment marks a new phase of growth for the agency.

“We’ve made big progress in the past 18 months, winning a range of new clients, adding senior staff and working on our new and unique positioning around behaviour change for challenger brands, which will launch officially in the coming weeks,” he said.

“The timing is perfect to create a new managing director role to take the business forward, and we’re absolutely thrilled to have Magda bring her vast and proven experience as a client and agency leader to help steer our next phase of growth.”

Triantafyllidis said she’s thrilled to join the Hardhat team and “propel this business to new heights”.

“For me, this marks the perfect time to immerse myself back into the dynamic world of indie agencies, contributing to the ongoing success and evolution of Hardhat’s incredible journey,” she said.

Reece Ryan, executive creative experience director at the agency, added: “Magda’s reputation as an empathetic agency leader and growth accelerator is second to none.

“Her sharp agency acumen and balanced perspective on the role of CX in modern marketing is a welcome addition to the leadership team. She will add much to the enormous momentum we have in the agency.”

Triantafyllidis’ role comes after long-time Hardhat employee and general manager, Isabelle Bonin, who worked remotely from Canada for the past two years, has decided to leave the agency to head up communications for Canadian advertising network Plus Company.

Monheit said: “Issy has been a massive pillar to our business for close to a decade, and has been brilliant for the past two years delivering her general manager role remotely from Montreal.

“Issy will always be a Hardhatter in our hearts, and we will miss her hugely.”
