Hardhat wins health fund Bupa’s content account

Digital agency, Hardhat, has won the content account for health care group Bupa, following a competitive pitch process.

The appointment follows Bupa’s aim to ramp up its content and digital activity with the help of its agency roster which includes Hardhat, AJF Partnership and Mindshare.

Dan Monheit, co-founder and director of strategy at Hardhat, said in a statement: “From our very first meeting, it was striking how passionate the guys were about improving health and lives. There’s also a real belief in the role content and utilities can help deliver that, and we’re thrilled to be a part of making it happen.”

Alex McDonald, head of content and social at Bupa, added: “As our content strategy matures in line with evolving customer expectations, it was really important for us to partner with an agency who can really push us to develop more utility driven thinking.

“Our focus is on helping customers to take better care of their health through meaningful content and tools. Dan and the team will help us challenge our own assumptions and biases and push us forward, which is exciting.”

In November last year, Hardhat appointed the former executive planning director, Iain White, at JWT as its planning director.
