Hardie Grant Media announces publishing and sales partnership with RACT

RACT has appointed independent content marketing agency, Hardie Grant Media, as the publishing and sales partner for its bi-monthly magazine, Journeys.

The announcement:

Independent content marketing agency Hardie Grant Media has been appointed as the publishing and sales partner for RACT’s longstanding bi-monthly magazine, Journeys. The role sees Hardie Grant Media take over the magazine publishing in addition to print and digital media sales.

Nick Hardie-Grant, Managing Director of Hardie Grant Media commented, “We’re excited about working with such a respected and important Tasmanian organisation. Their vision is really inspiring and we’re looking forward to helping elevate their content and contribute to an improved member experience.”

RACT’s Journeys magazine reaches 60% of Tasmanian households, something Hardie Grant Media sees a lot of value in. “We think there’s a great opportunity to build on the success of Journeys and give advertisers access to an improved magazine at the same time as providing more relevant and quality promotions to members,” concluded Nick.

RACT’s Chief Member Experience Officer, Stacey Pennicott, said the RACT was looking forward to working with Hardie Grant Media. “As Tasmania’s most circulated magazine, Journeys is an important part of how the RACT communicates with its members”.

“It’s written by some fantastic Tasmanian writers, telling our state’s important stories and using photos by some of our best local photographers. By working with Hardie Grant Media, not only will we continue to use content created by Tasmanians, but we will lift the overall production value, improving engagement and becoming even more relevant and important to Tasmanians,” continued Stacey.

Journeys magazine has previously been published by a mixture of in-house and contract staff. The first issue of the magazine contracted to Hardie Grant Media will be the December 2020 / January 2021 issue.

Krysia Bonkowski, former editor of the Virgin Australia magazine, will be the editor of Journeys, with Lauren Casalini heading up media sales.
