Hardie Grant Media appoints Sophie Bennett as digital business director

Hardie Grant Media has hired Sophie Bennett as the company’s first digital business director.

The announcement:

Sophie Bennett has been appointed to the role of Digital Business Director at content and publishing agency, Hardie Grant Media.

Sophie takes on the newly created position in Hardie Grant Media’s Sydney team, leading the company’s growing digital and content marketing offering. She has previously worked at King Content as Head of Content Planning, and most recently at WWF as Senior Manager, Content.

“With great experience in digital and content marketing, Sophie is a really exciting addition to the Hardie Grant Media team. She brings very strategic thinking combined with hands-on marketing and business development experience in an area of our business that’s growing quickly,” Nick Hardie-Grant, Managing Director said of the new appointment.

“In this industry it all comes down to quality and the ability to tell a good story, and Hardie Grant Media has this in spades. When it comes to content, it’s becoming more and more difficult to break through the noise. Brands are investing a lot of time & resources to create content that’s not being seen nor valued by its audience. Joining a business with a 20 year history of providing such high quality content for clients puts us in a great position to continue to expand into the digital space”, Sophie says.

Her appointment adds to other recent senior hires at Hardie Grant Media, as the company is adapting to the shifting content and publishing market. Samantha Orb (Business Director) and Tiffany Sayers (Account Director) both joined the business earlier this year with diverse agency backgrounds in media, activations and content.
