Have You Been Paying Attention? continues metro dominance in non-news
Ten’s Have You Been Paying Attention? (HYBPA) kept up its impressive run so far in 2021 on Monday night, winning all three key advertising demographics as the #1 entertainment program in metro markets.
An average of 727,000 metro viewers tuned in to the Working Dog-produced show last night, with the program racking up another win in non-news against big-budget competition on other networks.

Among other non-news programs, Australian Ninja Warrior was viewed by an average of 624,000 metro viewers, down on the 795,000 who watched its launch episode on Sunday.
Home And Away brought in 647,000 metro viewers for Seven, while Ten’s MasterChef Australia aired to 631,000 metro viewers. Meanwhile, Nine’s Seven’s Big Brother had 613,000 metro viewers.
Seven News was the #1 program overall in metro markets, with 1.090 million viewers, ahead of Nine News with 1.025 million.
The return of Australia Talks hosted by Annabel Crabb and Nazeem Hussain brought 454,000 metro viewers to the ABC, with 398,000 watching Media Watch in an episode that looked at the case of FriendlyJordies vs Deputy Premier John Barilaro.
Overall, Nine was the top-rating network on Monday, with a 28% share ahead of Seven’s 27%, Ten on 21.8% and ABC with 16.4%.
Nine was also the #1 primary channel with 20.3%, and 10 Bold was the top multi-channel on 4.1%.
