Have You Been Paying Attention? tops entertainment while Nine wins week

Have You Been Paying Attention? on Ten topped entertainment on Monday, however, it was Nine that celebrated an overall network share win.

The episode aired to a metro audience of 631,000 metro viewers, and topped all three key advertising demos

Nine took the week ending 11 June with a network share of 30% just pipping Seven’s 29.5%, while Ten finished the week on 17%, and the ABC’s on a 15% share.

Nine also managed to win the primary channel share for the week, with a 21.4% share ahead of Seven’s 20.9%, and the top multi-channel for the week was 7Mate on 3.4%.

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 6 June, Monday’s viewing of Seven News was the #1 program nationally across linear, with 1.745 million viewers, including 43,000 on BVOD, and an uplift of 3%. The biggest uplift of the week was 9-1-1 episode two on Seven with an uplift of 71% and aired to a total audience of 247,000.

Looking back at Monday’s ratings, next in entertainment was MasterChef on Ten which aired to an average metro audience of 577,000 viewers.

Monday afternoon’s AFL football game saw 563,000 metro viewers tune in, while 423,000 metro viewers watched Seven’s AFL: The Big Freeze.

Meanwhile, Seven News was the #1 metro program on Monday with 1.090 million metro viewers followed by Seven News at 6:30 with 1.002 million metro viewers. Nine News at 6:30 had 885,000 viewers, Nine News had 868,000 metro viewers. A Current Affair had 688,000.

ABC News brought in 598,000. ABC’s 7:30 brought in 503,000 in metro viewing.

As mentioned, Nine won the night, taking an overall network share of 26.5% over Seven’s 26%, while Ten took a 23.2% share and the ABC had 17%.

Nine won the primary channel share, and the top-rating multi-channel on Monday was 7TWO with a share of 3.9%.
