HCF tests fitness of everyday Australians against Sydney Swans in new work
HCF is tracking the health and fitness of the Sydney Swans and four everyday Australians in a new content piece to showcase the importance of health for everyone.
The four-part series features Sydney Swans players Kieren Jack, Josh Kennedy, Luke Parker and Dan Hannebery, who are tracked by the Swans’ professional support team, Michael Rennie, conditioning assistant, and Elise Cameron, team dietician.
At the same time, four Australians, Jorja Creighton, Rohan MacPherson, Dean Gladstone, and James Hall are also tracked, and then compared against one of the players.
The Swans vs Jobs experiment includes GPS mapping and health tracking tools to test distance, steps, physical activity, heart rate and sleep.
HCF’s first episode features AFL player Kieran Jack and sports teacher Rohan MacPherson.

Jenny Williams, HCF’s chief marketing officer said the campaign aims to “empower Australians to appreciate their health and well being”.
“Technology plays an important role in allowing us all to better understand our health needs,” she said.
“The purpose of this campaign is to empower Australians to appreciate their health and wellbeing whether they’re elite athletes like the Sydney Swans or one of the more than 1.5 million everyday Australians using our services.”
The campaign will run across TV, digital and social.

Kaye, you do realise that HCF is a sponsor of the Swans don’t you?
What objections do you have to sponsors utilising the talent and leveraging the brand that they financially support. Would seem like a logical and good strategy to me.
