Damian Marwood has been promoted to general manager (Acting) of N2N Communications – Herd MSL’s corporate, government and B2B agency. Marwood joined the agency in 2018 and was most recently the agency’s media director.

Prior to joining the agency Marwood led in-house communications teams and was a former adviser to federal politicians. Since his time at N2N Communications he has led a number of key accounts including Audi, Facebook, NBN Co, and Uber, in addition to providing media training to senior executives. Marwood will take the reins of the agency while Kata Farrell begins her maternity leave.

Cal Guyll has been promoted to strategy and insights director and head of Touch Creative – Herd MSL’s specialist social, digital and content creation agency. Guyl has over 11 years’ experience working with some of the world’s leading brands in the UK, US, and APAC, and most recently led work for NBN Co and Arnotts.

Guyll has been with Herd MSL for more than three years and has been responsible for leading social and content accounts and driving creative technology solutions in the region such as MSL Fluency – an end-to-end service designed to leverage human intelligence, best-in-class technology and machine learning to supercharge influencer marketing.

Herd MSL was acquired by Publicis Groupe in 2017.

In March this year, the agency bolstered its leadership team, promoting Stuart Wragg as chief strategy officer and Laura Beament to managing director of Fuel Communications.

Herd MSL CEO, Skye Lambley, said: “We have one purpose at Herd MSL and that’s to create conversations that change Australia and New Zealand. Critical to achieving our purpose is the appointment and promotion of top talent, capable of providing the highest calibre of client service and delivery, and mentoring and supporting over 70 of the best and brightest consultants in the business to take their career to the next level.”

Lambley added: “Mallis, Marwood and Guyll have each played integral roles in helping Herd MSL achieve its biggest year yet and I have been blown away by the role they have played supporting their teams during a period like no other. As an agency our values are ‘show up fearless’, ‘stay curious’ and ‘go home proud’. These are values they display in their approach to their work each day and I am so proud to be able to promote exceptional talent from within the Herd MSL family.”
