Hero’s Brisbane office gets first MD
Hero has appointed Natalie Redford as its first managing director in Queensland as the indie agency gears up to grow its presence in the market.
Redford has relocated from London for the role, where she was marketing director for the UK beverage portfolio at Pepsico, most recently leading an organisation-wide transformation of Pepsico’s media and content division.
Her experiences extends across a number of well-known brands, across both in-house and agency roles, including more than ten years at OMD, leading McDonald’s, FedEx, and EasyJet Europe.
Redford said it was Brisbane’s booming future and Hero’s local talent that attracted her to a new chapter in the Australian marketing industry.

The city is really shaping up for a strong future; we’re seeing a soar in tourism both locally and from overseas, backed by significant investment and really passionate, innovative business thinking. Hero founder and creative chairman, Ben Lilley said bringing in talent of Nat’s calibre is a sign of the agency’s “ever-growing future”.

The new appointment comes weeks after Hero’s chief operating officer, James Greet, departed the agency with plans to set up a new business.
