In a third major departure from a Melbourne creative agency in a week, Emma Hill and Josh Robbins, creative directors at Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, have left the agency. Their exits coincide with the resignation of Grey Melbourne’s creative director Ant Shannon.

Hill has worked a 17-year stint at Clems, starting as the receptionist at the agency’s Tasmanian office. Robbins has had two spells at the agency, leaving in 2006 then rejoining to team up with Hill in 2008.

Clems would not comment further on the news, but said: “We wish them well.”

At Grey, the agency’s general manager Randal Glennon confirmed the news of Shannon’s departure, and said a succession plan was being drawn up to replace the former Clems ECD.
