Hill+Knowlton appoints Carol McWeeney as nutrition communications manager

Hill+Knowlton Strategies has appointed Carol McWeeney as nutrition communications manager.

Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K) is pleased to announce the appointment of Carol McWeeney as Nutrition Communications Manager to strengthen its offer in the specialist food and nutrition area. In this role, McWeeney will work alongside consumer lifestyle and other specialist public relations consultants to provide a unique offering to organisations in the food and nutrition sector.

Carol joins H+K as Nutrition Communications Manager, bringing with her more than 10 years’ experience in the food industry, working with marketing, legal, corporate affairs and public health expertise.

Prior to joining H+K, Carol  held positions in the food industry as Nutrition and Regulatory Specialist and also has experience in health promotion with a focus on food labeling, nutrition and behaviour change in a wide range of settings including government, food industry and academia.

Adding to her wealth of FMCG and nutrition experience, Carol worked as nutrition and regulatory expert with Unilever in Europe, Goodman Fielder and Kraft Foods. She is particularly passionate about the role the manufacturing industry can play in making a difference to public health nutrition partnering with government and non-government agencies. With her strong and broad experience, McWeeney will be an invaluable asset to the H+K team.
