Hireup launches first integrated brand campaign via M&C Saatchi

Hireup, an NDIS-registered platform for people with a disability to find and hire their own support workers, has partnered with M&C Saatchi Melbourne to launch its first national integrated brand campaign.

‘Team up on your terms’ speaks to how Hireup puts people with a disability in control, empowering them to build a qualified support network that they connect with. The campaign also reveals how support workers can benefit from the flexibility of being employed by Hireup, whilst enjoying industry pay, superannuation, insurance and training.

Hireup co-CEO Jordan O’Reilly said: “Our purpose at Hireup is to enable the pursuit of a good life for everyone. Finding the right support worker can have a big impact on our clients’ ability to live a full life. It isn’t just about finding someone with the right qualifications, it’s about finding people with common interests, who will go that extra mile to form a genuine connection.

“Our new campaign shows how easy it is to build a support team you click with, and how allowing support workers to create their ideal working environment while offering them job security creates positive outcomes for everyone. At Hireup, we know the right partnerships make all the difference.”

The campaign features two TVC which centre the stories of two Hireup users who have been positively impacted by the service. The creative is voiced by Australia’s only blind voice-over artist and Hireup client Alistair Lee.

One of the TVCs highlights the story of six year old Mia, who has Down syndrome, and her support worker Jorja, who is studying teaching and appreciates the flexible hours that Hireup offers. Spot introduces Mia and Jorja separately, with the voice over explaining that ‘Mia’s support team was chosen on Hireup, based on who brings out the best in her’, as footage runs of the pair playing together at the beach with Mia’s mum.

The TVC will feature across TV, online, cinema and Spotify, and will be supported by campaign executions across News Limited print and digital platforms, as well as out-of home retail screens, street furniture and in pharmacies.

M&C Saatchi executive creative director, Emma Robbins, said: “Team Up on Your Terms is all about changing the narrative around disability support and empowering Hire Up clients to live the life they want, by using real stories from real clients, out there building their own team, their own way.”

Hireup senior marketing manager, Daphne Endress Mahfuz, added: “Team Up on Your Terms shows how Hireup is able to provide seamless support as our clients navigate their support journey and brings to life those moments of joy. From helping clients onboard to the platform to assisting them to build their teams according to their individual needs, Hireup is present every step of the way, helping our clients live the best life they can.”
