Home And Away tops entertainment, ABC’s Question Everything launches to 570k metro viewers

Seven’s Home And Away was the top-rating entertainment program on a quiet Wednesday night, bringing in an average of 690,000 metro viewers.

It finished just ahead of ABC’s Hard Quiz, with had an average of 679,000 metro viewers, with both programs beating out  high-cost production regulars including Nine’s The Block and Ten’s The Bachelor.

The Block brought in an average of 679,000 metro viewers, did take out the 18-49 advertising demo. Meanwhile, The Bachelor Australia with 471,000 metro viewers, and won 16-39 demos.

People 25-54 was taken out by Nine News, which had 1.075 million metro viewers, but Seven News was the #1 news program and also top-rating overall on Wednesday night, with 1.213 million metro viewers.

New ABC comedy panel show Question Everything, created by the team behind Gruen and hosted by Wil Anderson and Jan Fran, premiered to a solid 570,000 metro viewers.

Nine won the night in the network share stakes, taking a 28% share ahead of Seven’s 27.2%, with Ten on 19.1% and ABC taking 17.8%.

The top-rating primary channel was Nine, while 10 Bold just pipped 7Two to be the #1 multi-channel.
