Home and Away most-watched non-news show as Ten’s I’m a Celebrity wins in the demos

Home and Away
Home and Away was the most-watched non-news program last night, attracting 757,000 metro viewers at 7:00pm while Ten’s I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! remained relatively steady, losing 2,000 metro viewers to 719,000 – down from last week’s audience of 721,0000.

However, I’m a Celebrity remained still the most-watched show across the key advertising demographics (16-39, 18-49 and 25-54).

The reality show out-rated Nine’s Inside Story, which was watched by 644,000.

Thanks to a strong performance in the news – with Nine News the most-watched program of the evening with a 6:00pm audience of 948,000 and a 6:30pm audience of 932,000 – Nine won the night with an audience share of 19.7%.

Seven claimed second place with a share of 16.9%, just ahead of Ten’s share of 15.9%. The ABC settled for a share of 13.4%.

Seven News at 6:00pm pulled in 900,000 metro viewers, slipping to 864,000 at 6:30pm.

At 8:00pm Seven’s The Big Bang Theory was watched by 500,000, beaten by Nine’s RBT which pulled in 605,000.
