Home and Away wins entertainment as Seven takes Wednesday

Seven’s episode of Home And Away was the #1 entertainment program on Wednesday night, as the network also celebrated the overall network share win.

Home And Away brought in a metro audience of 548,000, while an episode of ABC’s Gruen aired to a metro audience of 539,000.

A late viewing of Home And Away was next in entertainment, pulling in a metro audience of 492,000, followed by Seven’s The Chase which aired to 473,000 metro viewers.

Ten’s The Bachelorette Australia aired to a metro audience of 332,000. The Bachelorette Australia also won key advertising demo 16-39.

The #1 program on Wednesday was Seven News, which had an average of 917,000 metro viewers, ahead of Seven News at 6:30 which pulled in 910,000, followed by Nine News with 813,000 metro viewers.

As previously mentioned, Seven won the night, taking an overall network share of 30.1% over Nine’s 28% share, while the ABC had 17.3% and the Ten took a 16% share.

Seven also won primary channel share while the top-rating multi-channel for Wednesday was 9Go with a share of 4.4%.

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 17 November, Seven News was the #1 program nationally across linear with 1.460 million viewers including 30,000 on national BVOD and an uplift of 2%.

The program with the biggest uplift however was Wednesday’s episode of Nine’s Love Island which had an 164% uplift on overnight figures and a total of 517,000 viewers overall and a national BVOD audience of 252,000.
