Home loan brand Aussie announced as sponsor of House Hunters Australia

Home loan brand Aussie is an official sponsor of the TV show, House Hunters Australia.

The announcement:

Aussie has been named the official sponsor of House Hunters Australia, the local edition of the globally successful property show, premiering Sunday 11 May on Network 10.

The partnership comes at a pivotal moment. As property affordability continues to challenge millions of Australians, House Hunters Australia offers a timely and relatable look into the emotional highs and financial hurdles of buying a home.

For Aussie, it’s also a defining moment. In March this year – more than 30 years after revolutionising the mortgage industry – Aussie launched a national Buyer’s Agent service and property search platform designed to help everyday Australians break into the $11 trillion residential property market.

Now, through the sponsorship, Aussie is using the power of storytelling to show exactly how it helps Australians navigate one of life’s biggest decisions – from understanding borrowing power and securing the right loan, to finding and securing the right property.

House Hunters will air nationally starting on Sundays for two weeks straight after MasterChef Australia on Sunday 11 and 18 May and weekly every Friday from 16 May at 7.30pm.

The partnership will feature a suite of authentic and seamless branded touchpoints including in-show integration, premium program IDs and play outs, as well as bespoke 60-second “break engagers” – narrative-led segments featuring real Aussie Brokers and Buyer’s Agents guiding customers through key property decisions.

“This partnership couldn’t come at a better time,” said Emily Lonsdale, general manager of growth at Lendi Group, which operates Aussie.

“The property journey in Australia can be challenging, but it also is a really exciting time for people, and we feel really proud to have played a role in that process for 33 years.

“As our proposition evolves from mortgage broker to an integrated property ecosystem, we need to bring Australians on that journey and show them we’re in their corner in new ways – and at every step.

“House Hunters Australia is the perfect platform to bring this brand evolution to life – to show the real value we can deliver for customers by empowering them with sophisticated market analysis and property search, through to professional mortgage broking and quick conveyancing – all under one roof,” she said.

Aussie will build on its investment in House Hunters Australia through a dedicated digital content hub—connecting the show’s audience and millions of customers to practical home ownership tips and insights inspired by each weekly episode. Aussie’s network of 1,300 brokers, including over 230 retail stores nationwide, will also amplify the House Hunters Australia message in-store to drive customer engagement and conversion.

Michael Stanford, head of Paramount ANZ Brand Studio said the broadcaster was thrilled to welcome Aussie as the official sponsor for the inaugural season of House Hunters Australia.

“Australia’s obsession with property runs deep – and House Hunters Australia taps into this beautifully.

“The series is so entertaining and engaging taking viewers along for the ride as home buyers dive headfirst into the chaos of finding their dream home with all the emotions, fiery opinions and laughs along the way.

“Aussie is such an authentic and ideal partner for the show as they are a major force in the property market offering a range of premium products and services for home buyers, just like those we see in the show.”

Watch the premiere of House Hunters Australia at 8.15pm on Sunday 11 May, straight after MasterChef Australia, and weekly Fridays from 16 May at 7.30pm, on 10 and 10 Play.
