Honae MacNeill appointed Head of Broadcast Production at Whybin\TBWA\TEQUILA, content division JAM\ expands

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – Thursday November 17, 2011 Whybin\TBWA\TEQUILA announces the appointment of Honae MacNeill, who joins the team as Head of Broadcast Production.

Honae MacNeill began her career at Film Graphics, one of the country’s premier production companies. Joining Film Graphics at the age of 18, Honae spent the next nine years working her way up the ranks and building a rock solid foundation, eventually becoming a producer for Film Graphics’ Young Directors.

In 2006, Honae joined DDB Sydney where her arrival coincided with that of Matt Eastwood and Steve Back. In 2007, she was appointed Head of TV, where she spent the next two years. She left DDB Sydney in 2009 to have a baby, and after 12 months off, went back to work freelancing with various agencies including GPYR Sydney.

Honae commented, “Joining Whybin\TBWA\TEQUILA under the leadership of Matty Burton and Dave Bowman was a no brainer. They’re exceptionally talented, hilariously funny and they don’t take themselves too seriously – my kinda people.”

Since arriving, Honae has been working to unite forces with Pete Gately, Head of Content for JAM\ (the content division of Whybin\TBWA\TEQUILA) to grow the agency’s broadcast and multiplatform production capabilities. “With new hires on the cards for the department and a growing need to build integrated content driven campaigns, I’m excited about the future of JAM,” added Gately.
