Hootsuite rebrands to embrace the wild side of social media

Social media management platform, Hootsuite, has rebranded with a new tagline and mascot.

Hootsuite has unveiled the tagline, ‘Your Guide to the Wild’, encouraging brands and customers to join the social conversation authentically. The company has also highlighted its icon on the logo, Owly, as the voice behind the brand and a platform guide.

The rebrand activation was built in-house, facilitated by Hootsuite’s creative, social and functional teams and incorporated stakeholder feedback.

Chief executive officer of Hootsuite, Tom Keiser, added: “We take our responsibility as advisors and visionaries seriously. After nearly 14 years defining the industry, it was time to rethink our integrated branding strategy to better reflect our position and our direction as the social experts, trusted partners, and joyful mentors. ”

Hootsuite has recently added TikTok to its suite of social media management capabilities.
