Hotwire picks up Squiz PR account after pitch
Integrated PR and communications consultancy Hotwire has won the PR account for Squiz, an open source software services company, following a competitive pitch, Mumbrella can reveal.
Hotwire has been appointed to enhance brand awareness of Squiz, which offers a range of digital products and consulting services, among key audiences and will deliver a cross-region PR campaign spanning Australia and the UK.
The agency will also provide PR services around Squiz’s annual conference Squiz Summit.
Alexis Wilson, managing director of Hotwire Australia, said in a statement: “We have strong contacts in Squiz’s target verticals, as well as extensive experience in raising the corporate profiles of innovative technology brands. So we’re excited to be working with Squiz to reach their business and communications goals.
“Squiz’s overall marketing campaign is highly sophisticated. Their case studies, whitepapers and IP reports are really going to complement the PR program.”
Robin Marchant, global marketing director of Squiz, said in a statement: “Working with Hotwire, we’re keen to further raise our profile in Australia and the UK.
“We chose Hotwire because they are global and because they think differently. We look forward to working alongside Hotwire to reach digital leaders and decision-makers globally.”
