On her new role, Lilley said: “Working closely with clients as they navigate these pivotal moments has always been a personal passion so my new remit is a natural transition.

“I am also particularly excited about developing our Melbourne offer. Whilst we opened the Melbourne office in 2018 it has primarily serviced the needs of existing clients Toyota and Origin so I’m looking forward to broadening our team and reach down there.”

Stuart O’Brien, CEO and founder of Houston, said: “Houston is truly a unique place with a very bespoke approach and methodology, so to be able to promote internally makes complete sense. Especially as Jo has been critical in managing some of our most complex projects and knows our business inside out. This experience coupled with Jo’s strong leadership sets us up for an exciting year ahead.

“Our average tenure is over 4.5 years and I believe the continual development of our people is at the core of this achievement. Not only does this experience underpin our business but it allows us to develop meaningful, ongoing relationships with our clients rather than taking a shallow ‘visual-only’ approach.”

Houston’s other clients include Lendlease, Origin and Macquarie Bank.
