Howatson+Company wins TK Maxx account in competitive pitch

Independent creative agency Howatson+Company has been appointed as the agency of record for TK Maxx in Australia, following a competitive pitch.

The new appointment is effective immediately, and will see the agency handle brand strategy, creative and production for the off-price retailer. Part of TJX Companies global group, TK Maxx Australia launched in 2017 and now has 69 stores along the eastern seaboard and 2 recently opened in South Australia, aiming to deliver great value on brand name, designer, and other high-quality fashion apparel and home wares for less than a department store.

Howatson+Company joins the brand’s media agency of record, Havas Media, which was appointed in February last year to provide a full range of media services including strategy, planning, buying, optimisation, reporting and analytic.

The win comes as Howatson+Company has continued to expand in 2022, now with a team of 90 people across its Sydney and Melbourne offices.
