Hoyts Corporate Solutions appoints Scott Russell and Ellisa Woodham into dual head of sales role

Hoyts Corporate Solutions has appointed Scott Russell as general manager of sales for NSW and regional markets, and Ellisa Woodham as general managing of sales for Victoria and the Australian Capital Territory.

The announcement:

As a result of growing client and market demand, HOYTS has appointed two new head of sales in a newly created dual role within the Corporate Solutions team. Scott Russell will lead NSW & regional markets (South Australia, Queensland and Western Australia) as General Manager of Sales, and Ellisa Woodham, who joined in February, as General Manager of Sales for Victoria & ACT – both bringing experience in partnerships, promotions and business development. Charged with creating tailored business solutions for clients, promotional innovation and bolstering the sales strategy across the cinema circuit, this full service approach allows for a greater personalised approach to customers across the portfolio.

Scott Russell said, “I look forward to driving innovation across the HOYTS corporate team and continuing to offer our clients the best possible entertainment and advertising solutions for their business needs.”

The role sits heavily within streamlining function, and expanding on relationships with clients and partner brands alike. Working across media agency, media owner, and client based industries set the foundation of Scott Russell’s career and provided exposure to a multitude of various business initiatives and strategies that he has been able to successfully apply to leading the HOYTS Corporate Solution team into the future.

The split General Manager Role intends to provide an additional level of service and focus within all aspects of the exhibition market. Ellisa Woodham joins HOYTS from Edge Loyalty – a rewards and incentives based promotional agency – bringing a wealth of experience in B2B sales, promotions and partnerships.

Ellisa is well versed in driving integrated 3rd party partnerships between brands and film properties and managing the relationships with both exhibition and the distributors; providing a strong foundation and movie industry background to help seamlessly transition over to HOYTS.

On her appointment, Elissa Woodham said, “I am thrilled and excited to be a part of such a dynamic business that is pushing the boundaries to enhance the movie going experience. As a team we will strive to develop solutions with multi- touch point offering, by leveraging our compelling suite of assets, products and clients.”
