Hoyts to show live World Cup matches in 3D
Hoyts has formed a partnership with SBS, the official broadcaster of the FIFA World Cup, to show selected live matches in cinemas cross Australia and New Zealand in 3D.
In a first for both countries, the matches will be shown on the big screen across the 3D satellite-enabled Hoyts cinemas.
Shaun Brown, SBS managing director, said: “This is an exciting moment in Australian broadcasting as SBS brings audiences a unique viewing experience with the world’s largest sporting event at home and in cinemas, live in 2D, HD and 3D.”
That’s fantastic… how much will they charge?
getting to the cinema for a live game at 4.30am! getting out of bed at that time will be a push!
Wow!!
Where and when?
