HSBC knows a media asset when it sees it
While the furore over Macquarie’s naughty Miranda Kerr-ogling banker may have abated, it’s good to see rival brand HSBC making the most of it.
This ad featured in the Sydney Morning Herald.
A PDF – made up to look like it appeared in the Sydney Morning Herald (it fooled us) has been doing the rounds by email.
And if HSBC is indeed behind it (which Dr Mumbo now doubts), they’ve been smarter yet – grabbing some free viral PR without even going to the trouble of buying a print ad.

It wasn’t an ad created by them and it was never published in the paper. Note the lack of the legally required “Issued by HSBC …” statement at the bottom.
