Westpac has launched a new ad in its ‘Emergency Cash’ campaign that promotes the bank’s initiative to give customers emergency access to their account if they lose their wallets or cards.

The stunt sees a ‘human ATM’ vox popping people in Melbourne who share their stories of having their wallets stolen or lost, and their subsequent reactions of frustration and panic, and is understood to be a precursor to a new TVC this weekend.

The ad explains the process of obtaining the emergency cash by obtaining a 6 digit code from the bank.

Westpac’s campaign has previously looked at the emotive side of losing a wallet.
