Hyro brings in former OgilvyOne creative director Bloomfield
Hyro, the digital marketing and technology company, has appointed former OgilvyOne creative director Simon Bloomfield into the same role.
In the newly-created position, he will head up Hyro’s creative and visual design departments.
Bloomfield was most recently consulting for Three Drunk Monkeys and GP Y&R Sydney.
He has also previously worked at Clemenger Proximity and Euro RSCG.
Last year Hyro was forced to restructure the company, announcing on the ASX that it had made a loss in 2008.
The changes included the “merging” of its Hong Kong business unit with technology firm Avartis, as well as the closure of its loss-making New Zealand and Chinese businesses.
Hyro’s new business wins in 2009 included Spirit of Tasmania, Buzz Insurance, REST and South Australian Tourism.
Congrats Simon, Looking forward to seeing what come out of the team.
