Hyundai offers small businesses $52k advertising packages in Take a Load Off competition

Hyundai, in partnership with media agency Hearts & Science and youth publisher Pedestrian Group, has launched a competition for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to win one of three bespoke advertising packages.

The three advertising packages, valued at $52,000 each, are taken from Hyundai’s marketing budget for the iLoad. They will include a bespoke video piece and written editorial piece, custom display marketing package, and amplification across the Pedestrian Group network, social media and Hyundai dealerships.

Hyundai is supporting small businesses with the Take a Load Off competition

The Take a Load Off competition is motivated by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission’s recent report of an 11.3% increase in the number of companies entering external administration compared to last year.

Hyundai Motor Company Australia marketing director, Kevin Goult, said the brand is repaying support to small businesses, which are a large segment of iLoad customers.

“COVID-19 is having a major effect on all businesses, but particularly the small business owner-operated. We want to play our part in keeping the local businesses open and the wheels turning. The Hyundai iLoad is a popular vehicle for SMEs; we would like to see these small businesses get ‘back to normal – but better,’ when we eventually come out of this pandemic,” Goult said.

Hearts & Science business director, Gail Halbert, added: “We are excited to bring to life this campaign with Pedestrian Group, which will not only directly impact three small businesses that may have had it tough recently, but also put a spotlight on the importance of Australians supporting their amazing local businesses.”
