Screen Shot 2013-11-20 at 12.26.35 PMSales house Ignite Media Brands is in the process of reviewing its business following the loss of Fox International Channels such as flagship channel FX, along with National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo Wild, Nat Geo Adventure to rival MCN.

Ignite Media brands declined to comment possibility of redundancies as a result of the client loss, releasing a statement saying “We are disappointed to learn that Fox International Channels have chosen to change representation, and recognise that this decision will have an impact on Ignite Media Brands.”

The loss of Fox International Channels, including National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo Wild, Nat Geo Adventure and FX, to MCN followed an announcement earlier in the year that Ignite clients channels TV1 and SF would cease broadcasts at the end of the year.

The statement from Ignite Media Brands:

“We are disappointed to learn that Fox International Channels have chosen to change representation, and recognize that this decision will have an impact on Ignite Media Brands.  We are currently exploring options with our joint venture partners on how best to position the business in 2014.

Our priority is to keep our employees abreast of developments and how they may impact operations.  We appreciate that this news may raise questions, however we are not in a position to provide additional details at this point.

For the immediate future, Ignite Media Brands will continue to represent Viacom International Media Networks, Sound Alliance, SBS pay-TV services and CNBC.”
