The release:

Global experience agency Imagination has further bolstered its senior team with experienced business consultant Carrie Arnold joining as Business Director, Experience Design.

The appointment comes as Imagination extends its offering further into the built and permanent experience category. Already partnering with architects and developers, Imagination are looking to create and transform Australia’s commercial, community and retail spaces with cutting edge digital, content and experience design.

Carrie is a world-class experience design professional, combining digital capability with a solid understanding of the built environment. Her impressive industry track record includes Executive Producer positions in London with AKQA and RGA, Global Delivery Director for Ford Motor Company at Imagination and business consultant for design and technology start up, Hirsch & Mann.

The appointment strengthens Imagination Australia’s award winning event and experience design expertise, drawing on the company’s track record of creating some of the most innovative physical environments and experiences for some of the biggest local and international brands including Ford, CommBank, Telstra and Shell.

“We’re very excited to have Carrie join the Australian team, and I’m confident her outstanding track record perfectly complements our offer,” said Imagination’s Managing Director Antony Gowthorp. “Our capabilities, expertise and talent put us in the lead to create environments that through the integration of technology, brand and content will transform how Australia works, shops, plays and lives.”

Commenting on her appointment, Carrie said: “Joining Imagination at this stage in the business’ growth is an exciting challenge. The Australian team’s thinking around the concept of activating spaces and bringing brands to life through technology is inspirational. I’m thrilled, to say the least, to be part of the evolution of Sydney as it becomes a truly connected city.
