IMPACT Communications rebrands to The IMPACT Agency

PR agency IMPACT Communications has rebranded to The IMPACT Agency.

The company acknowledged it may be unusual to create a new brand name so similar to the last one, but said the company would be more focused on human insights.

“The big data wave of the last five years has seen as explosion in analytics and data-led strategy. Data is great, but without context, it fails to explain why we do what we do. We felt the pendulum has swung too far; that marcomms professionals had forgotten that on the other side of the data were human beings, living and breathing in the real world,” managing director, Nicole Webb, said in a statement.

“It might seem unusual to rebrand using a similar name, but the name means a lot to us. IMPACT says exactly what we do: We create real impact for our clients’ businesses,” the managing director continued.

The IMPACT Agency has clients including Nestlé, CSR, Gartner, The Executive Connection, Unisys, Zuper, Crime Stoppers and The Australian Theatre for Young People.
