In need of rescue
Fair to say that online browsers are being offered conflicting information on what’s happening in the Chilean mine rescue.
According to The Australian, the rescue’s starting four hours earlier than planned. According to the SMH, two hours later.
Well look what SMH says about how deep the miners have been trapped…
The first of 33 miners trapped 600 kilometres underground for 69 days has made it to the surface.
Florencio Avalos, 31, was brought to the surface of the San Jose mine in northern Chile at 2.11 pm AEDT today.
Wow! 600km? Huge!
