In-image advertising service GumGum expands Australian operations

In-image advertising service GumGum has expanded its Australian operations and opened a Sydney office, the company has announced.

As part of the expansion, the company has appointed former InMobi partner manager David Pope as director of publisher development and Ben Nolan, previously client lead at Quantcast, as senior sales manager.

In Melbourne, Nick Nikolareas, former Exponential sales manager, and Daniel Hobbs, previously Nine’s group business manager for digital, have been appointed senior sales managers.

“Our network has more than doubled to over 13 million since launching in Australia two years ago and brands and publishers are discovering the heightened engagement our compliant, brand safe, contextual, viewable and engaging ads achieve in a premium and brand safe environment,” said GumGum’s ANZ managing director, Jon Stubley.

GumGum has also announced a refreshed portfolio of ad units, promising they will be compliant with the Coalition for Better Ads guidelines.
