Initiative director and Spark Foundry group client partner move to Hatched

Indie media agency, Hatched, has added an ex-Spark Foundry Australia group client partner and former Initiative group business director to its employee roster.

Prior to joining Hatched, Juliana Yeoh spent six years at Initiative, coming on board in May 2017 as an associate director for a 10-month stint before returning in March 2019 as a client director. Yeoh’s career has also seen her work at Starcom and Carat in account and business management roles.

The agency’s other new client partner is Emily Hall – a former group client partner at Spark Foundry Australia. In addition to its Australian office, Hall worked in the full-service media company’s London office for over three years, filling planning director and business director positions.

Like Yeoh, Hall worked at Initiative in the past, beginning her media career at the company in July 2011 before remaining at the organisation for more than seven years.

Both Yeoh and Hall shared their excitement at being members of the Hatched team.

“I’m thrilled to join Hatched,” Yeoh said.

“The people and the agency’s compelling vision drew me in, along with the exciting client opportunities. I look forward to collaborating to transform that vision into reality as I lead both my team and clients to success.”

“Working for an agency that aligns with my values and career goals is very important to me and Hatched’s people-first approach does exactly that,” Hall added.

“I’m keen to contribute to a dynamic team and advance my career in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.”

When speaking on Hall and Yeoh, Hatched’s chief operating officer, Adrian Roeling, praised their expertise and skills as leaders.

“We couldn’t be prouder to have Jules and Emily join the Hatched family. They are both fantastic people who also happen to be exceptionally good at what they do,” he said.

“They bring with them exceptional mentoring and leadership skills the team will benefit from as well as offering our clients outstanding account management and strategic planning expertise. They have slotted right in and already made themselves at home.”

Yeoh’s and Hall’s hiring is only a few of several new additions to the Hatched team. The organisation’s Melbourne office has welcomed Rose Feutrill and Steph Kepper as a senior client solutions manager and performance manager, respectively. Meanwhile, its Sydney team has grown with Yasemin Akpinar as account manager.

Client wise, Hatched has been busy expanding its portfolio, signing on Zellar, Nimble and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). In June 2024, the company announced it will be continuing its work with Bapcor as its media agency of record.
