Innocean Australia ECD Wesley Hawes announces new senior roles and hires

Innocean Australia’s recently appointed executive creative director, Wesley Hawes, has announced new hires including the newly created role of CX director.

Innocean Australia have made a number of new hires

Hawes, who moved from CHE Proximity in the same role to join Innocean late October, has appointed Romy Briers as CX director and Adrian James as CX insights director.

Briers was most recently digital marketing manager at Jaguar Land Rover and also has experience at Club Med and Trafalgar Tours.

At Innocean she will focus on managing, growing and re-igniting partner relationships to help drive digital innovation and deliver effective creative solutions.

James, meanwhile, also joins from Jaguar Land Rover having most recently worked in customer experience and insights. He will work closely with Briers to further build out a suite of analytics services for Innocean Australia clients.

Hawes has also appointed V. Wassim Kanaan as senior art director and Damon Porter as senior copywriter while Taylah Nilsson joins as social media manager.

“All the new roles bring with them a range of client experience, plus essential digital and CX skills,” Hawes said. “This will enable our client partners to create more effective and engaging campaigns in that space. It’s another step to building the Innocean brand in Australia with a multi-channel, integrated approach as we look to broaden our client base.”

The news comes just three months after Innocean Australia announced Jasmin Bedir as its new CEO. Bedir joined from Spark 44, an agency owned in part by Jaguar Land Rover.
