Insurer invites mo-growers to ‘look Schick hot’

Schick is offering free moustache insurance as part of its sponsorship of charity movement Movember.

The campaign encourages mo-growers to ‘Look Schick Hot’ by liking Schick’s Facebook page, where they will be given the tools to style their upper lips.

The Facebook page enables users to post pictures on a mo wall-of-fame, tag their team-mates on a style of mo, share their pics through Instagram and apply for moustache insurance.

Outdoor and online media will be used to drive traffic to the Facebook page.

“Wunderman Sydney hit on a great insight that some of the 140,000 men who participate in Movember each year, invariably aren’t used to so much fuzz on their face and might appreciate some help to look their best, “ said Aaron Collins, senior brand manager for Schick at Energizer Personal Care.

The agency behind the campaign was Wunderman Sydney.
