International speakers from Microsoft, WE Communications and SI Partners to speak at Mumbrella360: Reconnected

Mumbrella360: Reconnected has added three more international speakers to the November 17-20 program.

One of Microsoft’s leading search experts, Christi Olson, will virtually return to a Mumbrella stage in 2020

Microsoft’s Seattle-based head of evangelism for search and advertising, Christi Olson, returns after speaking in 2018. She joins WE Communications global CEO and founder, Melissa Waggener Zorkin, also based in Seattle, and Singapore-based partner at SI Partners, Alistair Angus on the new program.

Olson will take the stage with Microsoft Advertising’s regional vice president in APAC, Nick Seckold, discussing how brands move from the illusion of privacy to the reality and reassurance of data security.

Seckold will join Olson in presenting at Mumbrella360: Reconnected

The pair will share how consumers, marketers and brands can ensure that they are staying ahead of the curve and how brands can maintain trust with customers, comparing Australia to other global markets.

Waggener Zorkin, meanwhile, will explore the idea of the new CEO and the theory of 360 degrees of respect.

Waggener Zorkin, CEO and founder of WE Communications, will present from Seattle

She’ll assert that our breaking news world demands a new type of agile leader, and will share what’s expected of leaders today in a hyper-connected world where communicating with values must happen at every level, bringing the days of C-suite disconnection to an end.

The new world of marcomms mergers and acquisitions will be brought to the fore by Angus. He’ll explain the seven buyer types active in the creative M&A landscape and reveal what they want, where they want it, why, and what agencies now need to do differently to become fit for sale.

SI Partner’ Angus will beam in from Singapore to explore the M&A landscape for agencies

The landscape has changed significantly in 2020 and Angus will lay out the major challenges and opportunities that have arisen in an extraordinary year.

Local industry leaders have also been added to the Mumbrella360: Reconnected program, including McDonald’s director of marketing, Jo Feeney, DDB Australia’s managing director of strategy and innovation, Leif Stromnes, and Realizer founder, Rob Pyne.

McDonald’s director of marketing will present with DDB’s Leif Stromnes

Stromnes and Feeney will present a case study that will explore how McDonald’s managed to win consumer emotions and influence sales, while Pyne will reveal exclusive research on how leadership teams create value and what holds them back.
