International Traveller launches industry-backed campaign
Travel publication International Traveller has launched its largest campaign (and magazine) ever.
Entering the market on Thursday, the publication’s ‘Trailblazing Travel’ editorial campaign spotlights over 20 “off-the-beaten-path” travel destinations for 2025, citing locations such as Kenya, Norway’s Arctic north and Pakistan.
“From experiencing hyperlocal hospitality in Norway’s Arctic North to the Bali businesses turning trash into treasure, there are trailblazing travel experiences to be had everywhere, even in places we think we know well,” said Imogen Eveson, editor at International Traveller.
At the same time, the content looked at prominent, impactful figures in the travel sector, including the chief executive officer and founder of travel platform, Crooked Compass, Lisa Pagotto; co-founder of travel guide, Lonely Planet, Tony Wheeler; chiar and co-founder of travel organisation, Intrepid Travel, Darrel Wade, and more.
“Our campaign approach to content gives us a compelling proposition for both advertisers and readers,” explained Michelle O’Callaghan, partnerships and sales manager, at multi-Mumbrella Publish Awards winner, Australian Traveller Media – International Traveller’s owner.
The campaign received support from various companies within the travel sector, including Singapore Airlines, Hong Kong Tourism Board, Crowne Plaza, Intrepid Travel, and more.
O’Callaghan commented on the support, saying: “Most pleasing to see is the strength of the International Traveller brand recognised by luxury brands like Porsche.”
