Iris appoints David Griffiths MD as Penny Dixon moves to new HR role
Creative agency, Iris Sydney, has appointed David Griffiths as its managing director with Penny Dixon taking up a new position within the company.
Griffiths commenced the role on the first of January, after a one-and-a-half year stint as board director at Iris Sydney, following his four-year role as Iris Worldwide board director.
Dixon was appointed as managing director in 2013 after working as a director of Brand2Content, and has stepped into a new role as the agency’s head of people.
Mark Treadwell, client services director at Iris Worldwide, will be filling Griffiths previous role as board director.
Griffiths told Mumbrella: “For us it’s about stabilising the agency, we’ve had an eventful six or seven years here in Sydney. We had a fantastic year last year – 2016 was one of our best years. It’s about establishing us as a fantastic creative agency in the Sydney market.”
After six-and-a-half-years with Iris, Griffiths said the new position is a dream and he is extremely proud to be stepping up into the role.
Iris currently has offices in Singapore, Melbourne, Sydney, Shanghai, New Delhi and Jakarta.
every piece of Iris PR talks about the brilliant year they just had but they never seem to ever grow beyond 30 people
