‘It’s a true testament to who we are’: Think HQ acquires B Corp Certification

Full-service positive change agency, Think HQ, has acquired the much-coveted B Corp Certification – an accolade that examines an organisation’s environmental and social impact.

The milestone marks the company as “among the largest Australian-owned and headquartered agencies” to do so.

As Think HQ hosts near to 100 employees across its roster, its B Corp Certified status places it under the “advertising and research classification for agencies with 50+ employees.” The achievement also aligns with the agency’s values of fostering positive change for the planet, its people and locales.

“As an agency, one of our values is being authentically authentic,” explained Think HQ’s managing director, founder and Mumbrella Awards 2024 Industry Leader of the Year winner, Jen Sharpe.

“B Corp certification further validates who we are and what we have always stood for – positive social change.”

“The entire Think HQ team spent the past year collaboratively considering how we create impact and re-engineering agency-wide processes to align with the B Corp framework and set ourselves up for ongoing improvement as we join and learn from the B Corp community of businesses,” Fiona Nixon, the agency’s chief strategy officer, said.

“The process of becoming a B Corp is extensive and rigorous, and it’s a true testament to who we are.

“B Corps around the world set the gold standard for positive impact, and we’re thrilled to now be a part of that community - one aligned in values, and dedicated to the social and environmental betterment of our world.”

After rebranding itself in early April, Think HQ has continued to be true to its ethos and partner with socially conscious organisations to promote their positive messaging to the masses. In late June, 2024, the agency helped the Victorian Government release an anti-discrimination campaign aimed at giving gender diverse and trans people a voice.

In July of the same year, the company announced that it had signed on to act as communications partner for the Butterfly Foundation – a not-for-profit charity focusing on body image and eating disorders.
