‘It’s about embracing the simple joys of an Australian summer’: Catch.com.au launches new campaign

Catch.com.au has launched a new summer campaign encouraging Aussies to enjoy a fuss-free holiday season, via Melbourne-based creative agency, Ortolan.

Giving customers permission to take it easy this summer, the campaign – ‘Catch Everything, Do Nothing’ – taps into the humour, quirks, and emotion of the Aussie way of life.

The films – which were shot and produced by Pork Store Productions – lean into the universal joy of summer downtime; the “beautifully simple, yet irreplaceable” moments shared with family.

Whether it be floating lazily in the pool or enjoying the cool of a whimsical sprinkler, the campaign shows how shopping online with Catch lets Aussies relax and spend more time ‘doing nothing’.

And in the new year, ahead of the back-to-school season, a second iteration of the campaign is set to launch.

“This campaign is about embracing the simple joys of an Australian summer while showing how Catch can take the mental load out of shopping,” said Emma Paterson, head of marketing and ecommerce at Catch.com.au.

“Whether you’re preparing for the holidays, updating your summer wardrobe, or getting ready for back to school, we’ve made it easier than ever for Aussies to do it all online – anywhere, anytime.”

Ortolan director, Chloe Quigley, added: “Being Australian owned, it was important to create something distinctly Aussie.

“From the sun-soaked backyard pool to the family dynamics, this campaign captures the charm of real, relatable moments and connects emotionally with our audience.”

The summer campaign launched on Monday across OOH, social, digital, and advertising video on demand, while the back-to-school iteration will launch on January 3.
