Before working in China, Kavelj worked in various media buying roles in Australia. He went to universirty at Victoria’s Swinburne University of Technology.

Paul Brooks, joint head of implementation planning & investment at MediaCom, said: “We wanted to get the most experienced and talented person into the role and we found that person in Ivor.”
Kavelj said: “The thing that attracted me to MediaCom was the clear and compelling plan they’ve laid out for the future.”
The agency has made a series of senior hires in recent months. Earlier this week it won Yum Brands from Carat.
