Jackman loses face, wins testicles

Hugh Jackman will be taking on his most challenging role yet, playing a man with genitalia attached to his face in a very risque comedy opposite Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet.

According to news.com.au, Jackman will be the ‘star’ of Peter Farrelly’s segment in a comedy film featuring an ensamble cast and the work of 17 directors. In this short, Jackman would play a man whose testicles hang from his chin, and Winslet goes on a date with him.

The website offers no sources and the rumour has not been confirmed by Jackman.  But if there’s anything remotely true about it, why, oh, why Hugh? The Farrelly’s haven’t done anything funny since There’s Something About Mary in 1998. Remember Me, Myself & Irene, Stuck on You or The Heartbreak Kid?

Besides, South Park has already done it.

Update:

Steve Kearney, producer of the Australian short that will be part of this project, told Encore: “It’s correct. Hugh Jackman definitely has chin testicles. He plays a sort of movie star who always wears a scarf, evidently, and he’s on a date and then he takes it off at the dinner table.”

Peter Farrelly’s co-producer Charles B. Wessler added: “They’re not on his chin, they’re on his neck. The South Park thing is absolutely, completely different. Some people have brought it up, but until you see it, you won’t quite fully understand it.

“The short is about a blind date between him and Kate Winslet, and she doesn’t know that he has this issue. Pete Farrelly directed it. We shot it last month.”
