Jamie Wood departs oOh Media for global role, Ben Peel to replace him

Jamie Wood has departed oOh Media to join Boost Media International, but has confirmed he will continue his popular podcast series, Media Sales Mastery.

Wood, who has been oOh Media’s Queensland sales director for the past three years, will take on a new role at the global media consultancy and advisory business as global sales director.

Jamie Wood is moving to a global role at Boost Media International

Wood said: “After a decade of leading the revenue functions of media businesses, I’ve continually observed two major issues these companies are always trying to solve for: Expanding the number of new customers to the business; and driving the purchase of inventory they need to sell.

“Boost’s unique capability in this space is unrivaled globally. I’m excited to partner with our clients and bring this unique proposition to life in order to help them realize the full value of their business.”

He confirmed to Mumbrella that his podcast, Media Sales Mastery, will continue to run.

oOh Media’s head of national sales – agency, Wade James, wished Wood well.

“We would like to thank Jamie for his significant contribution to oOh, and wish him all the best at Boost,” he said.

oOh Media’s Ben Peel will replace Wood as Queensland sales director, starting on 14 August.

Peel added: “oOh has such a strong presence in Queensland and I look forward to working alongside the team to deliver market-leading results for our clients and agency partners and make brands unmissable.”
