JC Decaux promotes Lauren Tyler to Queensland sales director

JC Decaux has promoted Lauren Tyler to the role of Queensland state sales director, effective immediately.

She replaces Chris Perera, who is relocating back to Perth with his family next month.

Tyler begins in her new role immediately

“Lauren has really proven herself to be a future leader in our business and has developed important advertiser and agency partnerships in the Queensland market,” GM of sales, Oliver Newton, said.

“In her new role, Lauren will continue to grow the JC Decaux business across our billboard, transport, Brisbane City Cycle and street furniture portfolio in the expanding Queensland market.”

Newton added that he’d “like to acknowledge Chris’ contribution to our business over the past 10 years and wish him all the best for the future”.

Tyler moves into the role from her previous role as group business director at JC Decaux Brisbane. As state sales director, she will lead the Brisbane sales team, manage and expand advertiser and agency relationships and drive revenue growth in the Queensland market.

“The out-of-home market in Queensland, led by JC Decaux’s innovative digitisation program, has really driven advertiser interest in the medium because of the dynamic, creative opportunities it offers,” Tyler said of her promotion.

“I am excited to take on this new role to help continue that growth in Queensland.”

Tyler has more than 10 years’ experience in media, working at APN Outdoor as group sales manager. She joined JC Decaux as part of its acquisition of APN Outdoor. She previously spent time at Bauer Media, Goa, Australian Radio Network, and Mitchell & Partners.
