Jeff Koons and Squarespace are helping Aussies design breathtaking websites
Prolific artist Jeff Koons is teaming up with his now-official-website-design-partner Squarespace to release a template design collection for people to use when creating their websites.
The announcement:
Jeff Koons, arguably one of the world’s most influential artists of our time, has partnered with Squarespace to officially house a collection of his most iconic work online.
From today, Australian business owners and creatives will be able to create their own websites leveraging the Jeff Koons Collection of template designs titled Reflect, which are inspired by his iconic balloon sculptures. Koons has also chosen Squarespace as his official website design partner, featuring his entire body of work on jeffkoons.com.
Koons is one of the world’s most popular contemporary artists recognized for his Neo-Pop aesthetics and iconic sculptures such as “Balloon Dog”. He rose to prominence in the mid-1980s, and is best recognised for his work dealing with pop culture and sculptures depicting everyday objects.
“I’ve enjoyed my collaboration with Squarespace designing a website that brings all my works to date together,” said Jeff Koons. “I was able to create with Squarespace a site that communicates visually, emotionally, and intellectually the way I see the world. This custom website design called Reflect will give the user the same power and dynamism to create their own visual story through the use of this template.”
To accompany the website design, Squarespace shot a short film highlighting Koon’s creative process and musings. The film was shot at Koons’ studio and was directed and produced by Squarespace’s award-winning in-house Creative team.
