Jeremy Bews and Carla Steadman join Rowland creative

Rowland has hired Jeremy Bews and Carla Steadman as executive client director and client services director, respectively. They will work closely with head of Rowland creative, Suzanne Collins.

The announcement:

Two of Queensland’s most senior and long-serving marketing and advertising executives — Jeremy Bews and Carla Steadman — have joined the state’s leading strategic communication, digital and creative agency, Rowland, to further strengthen the agency’s creative capabilities.

As former business partners and principals of leading creative agencies JSA Creative and JSA Digital, Jeremy joins Rowland as executive client director and Carla as client services director. Together, Jeremy and Carla bring more than 45 years’ combined experience working on award winning and industry leading creative and digital projects.

Jeremy and Carla will work closely with Suzanne Collins, head of Rowland creative — one of the agency’s core business groups — to expand and further bolster Rowland’s offering in branding, design, digital, campaigns and advertising capabilities.

With two decades of industry experience in client relationship management, Jeremy is adept at coordinating the resources needed to service projects, build strategic operational plans, and deliver comprehensive, integrated campaigns to Rowland’s expansive client list.

Jeremy said the pair are excited to join Rowland’s passionate and talented studio team of design experts.

“Rowland’s exemplary reputation in the industry and power-packed client list present some exciting opportunities for Carla and I to help broaden its creative service offering and focus on some real targeted campaign solutions,” said Jeremy.

“With our previous experience and obvious synergies, it was an easy decision to get on board to further develop our shared client relationships and aligned business values.”

Rowland chairman Geoff Rodgers said Jeremy and Carla are a great strategic fit as the business continues to go through a substantial growth period.

“I am thrilled to welcome Jeremy Bews and Carla Steadman to the Rowland family.

“Jeremy and Carla bring a wealth of experience, knowledge and unique skills to the studio from their extensive careers working with an impressive list of clients on major local, national and international projects.

“The expertise and experience of Jeremy and Carla will be instrumental in helping drive our strategic initiatives, capitalise on new opportunities for growth and enhance our operational efficiency,” he said.

With brand, reputation, digital, engagement, campaign and communication services under the one roof, Rowland has evolved to provide a digital and data offering to world-class organisations, while maintaining its focus on corporate strategy, internal culture and external reputation.

Founded in 1992, Rowland employs approximately 80 people across five core business units: consulting, training, creative, digital and data, and also operates a wholly-owned subsidiary, Rowland Ventures, which is pursuing strategic investments in communication technology and related digital businesses.

Rowland also enjoys a 15-year association with one of the world’s largest communication groups, FleishmanHillard, which operates 80 offices and employs 3,600 people globally, and is part of the massive NYSE-listed Omnicom Group — the world’s largest marketing services holding company.

Headquartered in Brisbane, Rowland works with leading corporations, brands, and governing bodies across Australia providing communication support to successfully achieve corporate strategy, shape culture and brands, and manage reputation.
